1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Jones River Construction website (the “Site”) and any services you request from us, including free estimates, decks, porches, home repairs, and the Jones River Home Health Check. By using the Site or booking a service, you agree to these terms.
2. About Our Services
Jones River Construction provides residential construction, repair, and home-condition assessment services in Wake, Franklin, and Johnston counties in North Carolina. All services are subject to availability and a written proposal or estimate when required.
3. Estimates and Proposals
Estimates provided through the Site or in person are based on the information available at the time. A written estimate becomes the basis for a project only after both parties agree to a signed proposal or contract. Prices may change if the scope of work changes.
4. Payments
Payment terms are outlined in each project proposal. For Home Health Check services, payment is collected at the time of booking and is non-refundable within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment unless we reschedule or cancel. We accept the payment methods described at checkout.
5. Cancellations and Rescheduling
You may reschedule or cancel a Home Health Check appointment with at least 24 hours' notice. Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice may be subject to a fee. Construction project cancellations are handled according to the terms of the signed proposal.
6. Home Health Check Disclaimer
The Jones River Home Health Check is a visual home condition assessment performed by an experienced Jones River Construction professional. It is intended for maintenance planning and homeowner education. It is not a licensed home inspection, engineering report, or code compliance inspection, and should not be relied upon as such. We recommend consulting a licensed specialist for any specific concerns.
7. Intellectual Property
All content on this Site, including text, images, logos, and designs, is owned by or licensed to Jones River Construction and is protected by copyright and trademark laws. You may not reproduce or distribute our content without prior written permission.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Jones River Construction is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site or our services. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Wake County, North Carolina.
